Yesterday was the anniversary of President Eisenhower’s farewell address in which he warned against the influence of the military industrial complex. So here, presented in full, is the phenomenal documentary Why We Fight. This is arguably the finest documentary of the last 10 years.
As cynical as I can often feel about politics, it never ceases to stagger me how American politicians have been so willing to march us into war after war — all for the sake of cold, hard political and financial ambition.
